Happy 2015!
To celebrate New Year's Eve, we watched the Boise State Broncos barely eke out a victory over the Arizona Wildcats in the Fiesta Bowl. And of course, I was cheering for my Broncos. BOISEEE! STAAATE! We celebrated the three-time Fiesta Bowl champions (I was a BSU cheerleader and was on the field at the first go-around in 2007) with a fiesta party, complete with fajitas, tacos, dips, and salsas to rival the best Mexican spreads. And I cooked and prepared the meal—which was a victory in itself! After the game, we battled it out over a couple rounds of Trivial Pursuit, Daniel's mom taking the cake each time. What a stinker! We turned in, like we always do, around 11:00pm. What bums we are!
Last year, my big resolution was to grow as a person. I'm pretty sure I can check that one off my list after all the craziness that ensued during 2014. And as far as a resolution this year? RELAX—in every aspect. While good stress is a good thing, too much of it can be a bad thing. And I had a lot of it last year and didn't always handle it as I should have. So this year I just want to let it go. I want to enjoy things instead of always being on the go. I want to be more easy-going at home. I want to fly under the high-pressure radar that seems to be so common these days. I just want to relax. So I will.
As 2014 was beginning, I was anticipating lots of change with the Air Guard, my job, and my life with Daniel. I was convinced I was going to become a mom last year. But this year? I'm just not sure. I have no idea what lies ahead except for some definite consistency compared to last year. So 2015, no matter what you have in store for me, I won't say I'm ready, but I'm going to take it as it comes. Let's do it.

Happy new year Aunie! Here's to the best year yet - I hope you get to relax a bit, and enjoy the ride! xoxo
Happy New Year! You are always a joy to read, even though I haven't commented in a while. You are always a joy.
Allison
Happy new year!!!!
Relaxing sounds like a WONDERFUL resolution to me!
Relaxing sounds awesome - so with that in mind, I wish you a peaceful new year!
:) I love the picture - with all those twinkling lights! How did you do that? Some Techie things I just haven't learned to do yet.
And you totally rocked the 2014 "growth" goal! Like OUT OF THE PARK!
:) Happy 2015 My Friend!

Relaxing is one of my goals, too!! It seems like everyone's goals in 2014 were to push themselves and challenge themselves, and now we're all taking a break from that and vowing to enjoy the year!!
Happy New Year!!

You are going to be an incredible mom, when the time comes. Can't wait.
Boise State has put together a heckuva program. My school just started to play football, but I can't wait for that someday that they're playing in bowl games, too.
Happy New Year!
It wen't really really well. Drill was amazing meeting the people of student flight. I was thoroughly impressed by everyone. I spent most of the time in appointments. Fingerprints, clinic, and getting my ID. That took a lot longer than one would expect. We didn't have the time to PT this time but I was made aware it's coming. I also found out that I might be able to go BMT sooner than later so I'm excited about that as well. I'm no girl but I'm also impressed with your PT scores and am striving to do my best. I hope all is well and will definitely keep you posted. Keep those posts coming...they are truly inspiring.
I love your blog and pics. I enjoy stroking my cock while looking at your pictures and your sexy legs and ass. I'd like to eat that sweet ass of yours and have you slide it up and down on my throbbing cock
Mmm... nice, anything under the maxi skirt? Wish it was me! Lol. Would love to see pics of your typing attire, or your bare butt, ;-) ;-P Well I'm typing one handed as I type while viewing and enjoying you and your sexy legs in that awesome outfit.
Aunie, I'm really considering cutting my hair so I don't have to put it up in a bun. My hair is naturally straight, but I'm wondering if you think I'd be allowed to take a hair straightener to use before graduation to make sure it looks nice. Do you think I would be allowed to?
Jacqui, great question! They won't let you use your straightener until AFTER graduation. Bummer, right? But a lot of girls in my flight ended up cutting their hair when they were down there. It was easier for them. For me, a bun is easier :)
I'm leaving on March 17th and I'm wondering if there are standards for backpacks that you bring. I had heard that when you get to tech school you have to have an all black backpack; is this true? I have a full black one but it has silver zippers. Would this be a problem?
Oh wow! I'm so glad to hear it went so well! And yes, the appointments take up so much time!! Ugh! And going to bmt earlier than later, that would be awesome! I hope it happens for you!! Thanks again for your comment. I'm so glad to see how much you like the air guard so far!
Maddy, thanks for your comment!! You're right, when you get to tech school, you DO have to have a black backpack. Silver zippers will be no problem at all. As long as there aren't bright colors on it, like big bright logos or writing, you're ok. And for going to basic, they don't care what kind of bag you bring. I went down with a girl who brought a leopard print one. They didn't care :)
Thank you! I'm excited to hear all about your BMT experience, especially if you have any advice!!!!
Shoot--advice? Volunteer. Soak it in. Take notes and reflect on what you learned after. That will be helpful! Keep pushing yourself to the limits with your PT> and ask questions. Especially if you have more questions for me :)
I'm leaving for BMT on March 31st, and there's something I've been wondering about. My favorite pair of running shoes have some holes in them. Should I spring some $ on a new pair and start breaking them in now, or are a few holes not a big deal? They're very comfortable, so of course I'd like to bring them if I can, but I don't want them to cause me any grief. Thanks!
Oh! I just read the post you linked to about running shoes. Mine are bright blue anyway, so it looks like I'll be purchasing some new ones!
Ana, if your shoes have holes, they'll make you purchase new ones down there (and they offer a limited selection). I recommend getting your favorite pair now and breaking them in :)
Any color works!! They don't care.
Is this acceptable? Am helping my wife get her packing list together - wasnt sure since there was a bit of color on the bra - http://www.walmart.com/ip/Danskin-Now-Womens-360-Seamless-Y-Back-Bra-and-Boyshort/40646936
Forgot to add it of course is the black one - we tried to find UA boy shorts but they changed their line -
Yes, absolutely. They do not care AT ALL what color your undergarments are. One girl had leopard and lace stuff in my flight :) It's no biggie!
Can you wear whatever underwear you want(excluding thongs) at AF Active Duty basic training? And the first three days your in Civilian clothes, can you have holes in the knees of your jeans?
Yes! And all Air Force members (Active, Guard, Reserve) go to the same basic training. I do NOT recommend having jeans with holes. Your TI's won't be a fan and will make you wear gym clothes or sweats instead.
Okay, thanks! And also, I heard you can bring your own facial and hair products and if they are over 3 Oz then you can have them sent to you. I was wondering if that was true. Also, I have short curly hair. It does not touch the collar but I want to wear it in a pony tail. If it is slicked down with gel on top, can the pony tail be just my curls lose? Or does it have to be in a bun?
Hi again! You're welcome. You can definitely bring your own facial and hair products. I brought 3oz ones and then bought full sized versions at the mini mall on my first trip. You can also have them sent to you, though mail takes some time before it gets there, FYI. You should be fine with a ponytail or your hair down. Either way. If it can't fit in a but, it's ok to wear as a pony :)
Hey! How did you get nail clippers and tweezers on your carry on? Aren't' those banned?
Nope! I had no problem with it.
