Unexpected
Take time out today to do something unexpected—take a leap of faith, test of your limits, check off a bucket-list item, take a step forward in a new direction—you never know where it'll land you. Because you never know until you try, right?

We are going to pick up our pit bull puppy on Saturday!! Totally a God thing - there were many to try and decide on (from afar/long trips to go visit each) ... and this one FELL into our laps! So so so excited for our little love bug!
This is the second post about something like this. Now I am really curious what is up your sleeve? I know I will be opening a shop soon so that's my step in the next direction.
Thank you dear! Her name is Ivy - you can see her on my personal IG if you get a minute (@lakekat) ... it is so wonderful to have her. Although I have to say ... she is teething AND we found out that her bladder control won't fully develop for another 3ish weeks yet, lol :) I can't remember specifics, but I feel like you have a dog? <3 But I also remember there was something sad with that too, so I am sorry <3 feel free not to answer that part if so :)
Katie, you're wonderful. She is ADORABLE. I love her squishy face. I'm going over there to leave comments right now, too :) Sorry about the teething and bladder control... ugh!
We DID have a dog. She was the sweetest most wonderful pittie ever... but a few months after we adopted her, she got loose from her leash while out for a while and mauled another dog. Daniel's brother was the one walking her and he was absolutely terrified of her after that. We couldn't keep her or risk it happening again (especially with future children in the works). You know... sometimes stuff just doesn't work out. We miss her dearly though :(
Oh Annelise <3 I'm not sure if you're a hugger, but that's one of the lovely things about blogging land - I can give you a virtual hug, and if physical hugs are not your thing, it's no intrusion on your space, and no awkward refusal of me :) so I'm sending you a hug now! lol ... But that is so sad :( how awful for all of you! Yes, I do understand your reasoning in the decision. Sounds like you made a really tough and wise choice.
I love love love her and so does my husband, judging by the amount of naps/snuggles/no-in-bed, ok just this once time they spend together ;) I saw your comments. Thank you so much for stepping into my world too!
Oh! Also, I was going to say that you are such a blessing to my heart. To get to share in on your world a bit for the last year and a half, and to see how we both love Jesus and want to serve him day in and out, as well as how we are both going through many similar life events together (house, hair, marriage, etc), has been wonderful!
I realize this entry is over a week old, but I am taking a weekend time-out to go away by myself and relax and read and do nothing at all...which I NEVER EVER do :)

Great advice for any day :)
Amen sister!
Yes!
Hope you had a great weekend Aunie!
WHAT?! So excited for you. This is a huge deal. How is having your pup home? What is its name? :)
A shop will be so cool... what a neat move. Can't wait to see what you have in store, Cody!
I sure did! Raking leaves, napping, watching movies, enjoying life... it doesn't get much better! How was yours?
Yeah I am excited. I opened Sunday. I will be posting more about that tonight.

Thank you so much. I am a hugger, and I appreciate it lots! :)
I agree with you. It's so fun sharing my story and seeing how I'm not alone in ANYTHING. Someone else is always doing it ,too. It's so comforting :)

Sooo excited for you! You deserve it, Colleen. Of anyone, you deserve it :)
