Beauty in Every Day
There's beauty in every day. But you have to open your eyes to see it.
I have stories I could write and words that I could try to hammer out... but today I'm just reflecting on that simple thought. When you pray and pray for an answer, such as if a door is meant to be opened for you, let it be opened, or if a door is meant to be shut, then let it be clearly closed—how can you be upset when you find out that your door has, in fact, been closed? That's an answer to a prayer. It may not be the answer you "wanted." But it's an answer. That's so beautiful.
Here's to open eyes, open doors, an open heart, and finding beauty in every day.

This has me wondering what door has been opened or closed.... But yes today is beautiful. James and I learned that lesson.
amen!
This is exactly what I've been thinking about lately! It's one of the main things I've been struggling with through out my life, as I'm sure other people are too. But having His mercy and grace on my side sure helps :)
exactly! both have happened for me lately and even though it drives me insane, it's totally out of my control and something i just have to deal with.
I feel like you knew that I needed this. Thanks Aunie.
Oh I'm so glad to hear :) good for you guys!
You're so right. I know that He will never give me anything I can't handle. So just taking each day in stride and learning as much as possible!
I know what you mean. At first, closed doors can be so frustrating. But then it's like "Hallelujah!" when a new door opens :) and thank goodness that they do!
You're welcome, Krysten. Sometimes the most simple statement can have such an impact... and I'm glad that you felt mine today. We must be in the same boat!
Thanks!
