The Yard House
Friday evening, the Yard House opened at The Village at Meridian, and I was grateful to be invited to attend the Grand Opening celebration. I was given a reserved table, so Daniel and I invited our good friends Casey and Erica to try out Meridian's hottest new spot. As I was running around taking photos, I bumped into our other good friends David and Katey as they were walking in, so we invited them over to our table... the more the merrier!
The Yard House didn't officially open to the public until 8:00 pm, so we were there to preview the location and try samples of their most popular dishes. We sampled their ahi poke, firecracker wings, seared ahi, Korean BBQ beef, chicken garlic noodles, spinach cheese dip, summer salad, cheeseburgers, egg rolls, crab cakes—the list goes on and on! Everything was absolutely delicious, and I'll tell you what—we didn't think we'd be able to get full by simply eating "samples," but they just kept coming and coming. Their staff was on point and the food was so delicious! For dessert, we were treated to mini crème brûlées, and I'll be honest with you, I had two... they were absolutely divine!
The evening was spent over laughs and good times, and delicious delicious food. If you're local to the Boise area, give the Yard House a visit—you won't be disappointed. I know Yard House has locations all over the United States, so chances are pretty good that there's one near you if you're not in town.
Thanks again to the Yard House—the food was delicious, the service was amazing (Bree, you spoiled us!), and we are all anticipating a return visit. Thanks for making The Village at Meridian the place to be!

Oh sweet yumminess! That all sounds delish. I wish we had one here but heck, not much is here. ;)
We love the Yard House! We were regulars at the one in Nyack back in New York. I haven't tried anything on their menu that wasn't fabulous. Oh, and seriously beautiful autumn leaf pictures, too!
We love the Yard House and go almost every time we go to Kansas City!!! I love how big the menu is and try to get new things every time but I have some stand-bys, too!
One of my favorite places! They opened one recently near us, but we haven't had a chance to go yet. How fun to be invited to try it all a bit early!
The food sounds amazing!! I looked at the website and they are opening one up by me next year!! Yay :)
Oh my gosh. I'm going ASAP.
Aw :( Well that's how our little city was just a few years ago! Can't believe all that's happened here since then!
Thank you about the leaves... I can't get enough of them right now. The trees around here are just awesome. So tell me, what was your FAVORITE thing of all time at Yard House?
OK, well you must tell me-- what's your favorite thing? Can't wait to go and actually order something!
And I'm so excited we got to try so much... now I know what I want when I go back... besides for all the other delicious things on the menu. What's your fave thing?
You must you must!
Woop woop! They're popping up all over. Can't believe we finally have one!
You must! Maybe we'll run into you sometime! :)
I love the Margarita pizza and we always get the chicken wraps (off the appetizer menu) - no tofu in our, though!!! We also love the truffle fries. And - many, many of the martinis are good!!!
Probably the ahi sliders with sweet garlic aioli sauce. And I'm a sucker for the house honey blonde ale.
Looks like you had a great time. I sure miss autumn.
That restaurant looks awesome. I want one near me (in England, sadly). :P
OOH Margherita Pizza! I never say no to pizza :)
We sampled the sliders... they were DELICIOUS.
Come up for a visit!! I don't like the temperature autumn brings... but the colors. OH THE COLORS! :)
Maybe someday! Keep those fingers crossed :)
YOU FOUND MY POST! You were the BEST server, Bree!!! Thank you again for making our night fabulous!
This does look like a great time!
