Me with Tanya of StyleSpyGirl, Alicia Vanderschuere (owner of rosieMADE), and Ashley of Rustic Living
Some of my favorite items in the store included handmade jewelry, body and bath soaps—in the shapes of cupcakes no less—distressed t-shirts, and stitched stuffed animals. My friend Ashley of Rustic Living is also now a vendor for rosieMADE, so I was able to peruse her handmade pillows, placemats, coasters and purses. Her items were so shabby chic and my favorite of anything!
Also attending the Grand Opening were a couple of my blog & real life friends: Tanya of StyleSpyGirl, Ashley of Rustic Living (mentioned above), and brand new Boise blogger Amy of Sugared Rush. We had the best time connecting with these female business owners and learning more about their products. The turnout for the event was great and I can't wait to see the success that Boise will bring to rosieMADE.
This is Amy, and she just started the fashion & photography blog, Sugared Rush!
This is the funniest photo! Ashley & Michael's 3-month old, Austyn, was a sleepy girl!
iTySE bags, reusable shopping bags made at a prison in Oregon. These are the coolest & the woman behind them is amazing!
My friend Tanya of StyleSpyGirl. We have the most fun seeing what each other is wearing because our styles are so opposite. She's the "downtown chic" and I'm the "beachy casual." Look, we even ended up wearing the same color palette last night, and our styles are so different. We love it!
If you're in Boise, be sure to stop by rosieMADE and shop their USA handmade goods. They're located right off 35th and State in the cutest boutique. Thanks again, Alicia & rosieMADE for inviting me to this lovely event! We wish you & your rosies the best of luck!
PS> My shoes are c/o Fit In Clouds. So comfy!

Love the jewellery! So pretty!
Thanks SO much for coming to the event last night! It was so great to see you!
FUN! I want to go to an event like this, I wish my town had more cute little shops like this one.
Oh my gosh! Why don't they have fun stuff like that here in CO? (Maybe they do, I just don't know where they are.)
Isn't it fun? I have a bottle cap & sprinkle ring from that store... just love it!
Alicia, thank you again for the invite. I am so pleased at the turnout. You have the most amazing group of rosies supporting you! Can't wait to see what's next for you & RM!
I'm so glad we have this one! We have lots of indie shops, but not one by women for women :) it's a fresh idea!
Oh, I bet they do! With all the fun people & entrepreneurs over there! Just shop online at rosiemade.com! That'll solve all your problems :)
Well, that solves the problem. LOL. Thanks Annelise!
What a blast! Awesome store (congrats, Alicia & the RosieMADE crew!), lovely ladies to chat with, and fab food from Momo's. It was so fantastic to hang out with you again, my dear. :) XO
Oh I wish I was closer. It looks amazing. I love how you and Tanya were wearing the same colors but opposite way and opposite style.
what a fabulous looking store! all the best to rosieMADE!

Boise sounds like so much fun when you are describing it!
What FUN!
I will never say no to a blog date with the fabulous StyleSpyGirl! :)
Isn't that fun? We are so different... and we love seeing each others' style!
Thanks P&P!! I wish them the best, too! :)
Isn't it unique? I think the owner Alicia is a genius!
Hey Chris! Thanks so much! You're so sweet and I am excited to stop by and see your blog, too! :)
It is fun! It's growing so fast, but still has that small-town feel :)
It really is. You guys are sooo cute. I looks like you guys chose a color theme before hand. You know that would be a collaboration post with her. ;]
We have talked about doing that! Like a "style an item" and see how we each would wear it :) We definitely did not coordinate on purpose that day :)
That would be really cool to see. But I am sure that you didn't this time.
