I don't know what it is about this gray hoodie, but Daniel loves it. It's been hanging in my closet for years, and earlier this summer I pulled it out to layer over a tank at the lake and Daniel couldn't understand why I hadn't worn it in front of him before... it was his new favorite! Last Sunday, it was Family Day at the Air National Guard and he texted me before I drove over and said, "Wear your gray hoodie!" It's not the fanciest sweatshirt, and it was a little warm for the 80+ degree day, but when a simple thing like that can make your husband smile, why not do it? Plus, it couldn't be a more comfortable piece—I wish Old Navy would bring this style back!

The outfits my husband likes the best are always surprising to me and they are always NOT the same as the outfits I like the best! So it's fun to alternate.
I'd say it surprises me what outfits my husband likes best, but not really - he's a t-shirt and jeans guy so he likes it when I dress down. And for all he says he hates makeup, he tells me how good I look when I have a little bit on.

This post cracked me up because my husband is the same way! I have a similar hoodie and whenever I wear it, he's always like "you look so cute, why don't you wear this more often?" Guys are funny :)

I agree with you. I always feel so cute and fun in a little tank and high-waisted skirt or in a little summer dress, and poor Daniel just loves the gym outfits and jean shorts. Ha!
Dressing down is just the best. Daniel only wears t-shirts and jeans, so I get your husband's taste. It's practical! And I apologize for the hoodie... it's SO old. I wish Old Navy still made it!
At least it's easy to know what they like! If I ever want to look "my best" for him, I always know just what to wear :)
Thanks Melody! I know, isn't it funny how when our husbands say "Oh, I like your hair like that," we're so much more likely to do it? PS> Daniel is the sweetest... just whispered to me last night, "Oh by the way, the straight hair in a headband? NOT GOOD." HAHA! You can bet I won't be doing that hairstyle for a while. I totally respect and trust his opinion :) It's funny!
Oh, Shannon. You are making me blush!! My legs are all over the place these days. For a while there I was losing a bunch of weight, now I'm back to maintaining, and no matter what I do, they keep getting tattered and scarred up, so thank you for saying that!

Old Navy is having some KILLER deals right now, but I will warn you, they haven't made this sweatshirt for a while. It's SO OLD. But they do have a bunch of full-sleeved hoodies... perfect for fall!

I always find it funny what guys favorites are. Like James favorite is something like that and I don't understand it but as long as he enjoys it I keep on wearing it.

Haha, at least that's one sure-fire way to learn, right? I just like to look good for him, you know? I've worn a couple things that he's like "well, that's *interesting," *and then I think to myself if it's actually a good-looking piece. If not, I know someone at goodwill will be able to use it ;)
