Today marks a very, very important day. It's the start of the college football season! While this may not be a huge deal for me, I know that Daniel has been waiting and waiting for this day. He loves college football, and he especially loves watching Boise State play. And a man that loves the Broncos is a man after my own heart, after all.
So I thought I'd kick off the season with a cool video—made by Bronco Nation—of some favorite moments over the last few years of Bronco Football. And hey, if you pause it right at 1:18, you'll see my sister and me in our rival Boise State and University of Idaho cheer uniforms!
I'm the third from the right—about to do a backhandspring.
BOISEEE.... STAAATE!

I should have known you used to be cheerleader! You're so positive and bubbly, that's where you get it from! It's just natural for you! :)
PS, I recommended your blog to all of my blog readers, as I cannot get enough of your positive, upbeat attitude. It's a dose of happiness everyday.
How BEAUTIFUL do you look in that uniform?
Fits you like a glove!
It's great to see you as a cheerleader, it erases all those stereotypes of those MEAN girls... who cheer (like my entire HS competition squad.. I was a flyer...they weren't very nice to me... whatevs)...
Positive and Upbeat... That's you.. to a T... GIVE ME A T! *giggles*
Aww! We have something in common! I was a cheerleader once. Did all the tumbling for the team. I miss it dearly. I wanted to be on the Gators cheerleading squad. But... sadly.. I made poor choices. Oh well! I still have my moves and remember the cheers lol! Oh, and every now and then I will do a round off back handspring. ;)
Yep! I began cheering when I was about 10 years old :) yay! And THANK YOU THANK YOU!! Where did you share it, would love to see it!
Aw, thanks Kateri!! Those uniforms were really fun... we didn't have half tops or anything back then, so they did fit just like gloves!! :)
And I really dislike that mean cheerleader stereotype, too, but unfortunately I had to deal with some of those girls too. So glad to be past all that!
Nice!! I was the tumbler, too! That was always my favorite :) Good for you girl!
That is awesome, I did not know you were a cheerleader! (where have I been?)

I just don't post about it too often! I can still do a backtuck!! :)
Glad you found me! You've been cheering for awhile then! Ever seen TLC's Cheer Perfection? It's a guilty pleasure, simply because I WISH I could do what they do (and you too!)
Sooo exciting that you got to be a college football cheerleader! i was for high school, but if I could do it all over again I think I would have continued in college! Wooo college foootball, so excited it's opening day! ahh!
You were so cute, still are. I can't wait to share my exciting news when I come back from my break *hinthint*
I haven't seen that show... now I'll have to look it up! I cheered competitively since I was 10. Then I cheered in middle and high school. Then one year at a school in Southern Cali, and then for 2 years at Boise State :) I should do a cheer history post! :)
Any teams you love to watch? Games you're looking forward to?? I am excited!
OOH ooh can't wait to hear it!
YOU SHOULD! I'd love that!
My college doesn't have a football team, but I am becoming a bandwagon TCU fan this year (since I live in Fort Worth now). The kids all have TCU shirts and every Friday that there is a home game the city decks itself out in purple and local stores offer all sorts of awesome deals for anyone wearing purple.
Wow!! That's so cool! I'm a gymnast and would love to do college cheer!(: log e your blog!

I can't wait to share. I am sure I will share next week. That's when I am officially back blogging.
That is awesome! I can still swim (my sport in college) but that is not saying much!
Sure it is!! Swimming is HARD work! I can barely do a couple laps before I'm totally out of breath!
cool.......
Thanks, man! :)
You betcha! Love your blog!
