Not a care in the world,
perched high above the city,
overlooking Boise—
she sure is pretty.
Bathed in green—
the "City of Trees"—
the songs of little birds
carried by the breeze.
Through swirling clouds,
the sun shines its light,
over the Boise foothills—
a beautiful sight.

What a beautiful view and a beautiful girl! I love your hair, it's so gorgeous and long!
Nice poem! And beauuuutiful long hair:)
I thought of you as I was writing it!!! Your little tribute recently made me want to write more! Thank you, Hannah!
Laura, it IS getting long! It feels like the same length, but then when I see photos I realize it's gotten longer!
Gorgeous view lady!
LOVE all the green!
See, I feel like mine is always the same length and when I look at photos, it's still the same length! :P
Ohhh! Beautiful Boise! I miss my hometown when I see beautiful pictures like this. I always loved this time of year, hiking in the foothills, bikerides on the greenbelt, Saturday morning farmers markets! I am living vicariously through you and glimpses of Boise in your photos!
That's OK with me! Just means I need to show more of it! And the farmer's market... thanks for reminding me! What a fun thing to do!
You got it! i'm thinking about adding in poetry once a week on my blog. I love it. It would be fun to do a link up :)

I realized that I had a poem on my blog last Wednesday, so it looks like Wednesdays may end up being poetry day. Here's what I came up with today:

Thank you, Kym! It's by far my FAVORITE thing to write. It doesn't always make sense, or flow, or work... but it's just the feelings that I have... and I love expressing them that way :)
I love your poem! Man, what a beautiful soul you have. Thank you for sharing, Hannah!
I'm glad you liked it! What a compliment :)
