April is Earth Month... and what a month it's been! I swear I've been outside every chance I could get—exploring, biking, hiking, dining on patios, and just taking it all in. Last week, I posted on the Yes To blog about what I'd be doing during Earth Week (April 22 was Earth Day). To read my post,

What did you say "yes to" during Earth Month?

I say yes to tulips! They're everywhere here in Kansas City, and I can't get enough!
(P.S. I once read a book about a girl who painted the earth on her thumb one day. I have no clue why that stuck with me, but it always seemed like something fun to try. You should do it!)
Oh my goodness. I love it! Nail art for Earth Month? YES! Oh... and heck YES to tulips. All the spring blooms are amazing!
I have been enjoying the weather warm enough to rollerblade (for NYC that is very outdoorsy).

I love rollerblading! How fun!
I love how athletic you are Aunie! (btw, wanted to tell you at the store but didn't want to be weird. You have a nice physique, love your toned arms :)) I like outdoors but i'm still getting used to the hot and dry weather here, and I am so not looking forward to 100s lol
Anyway, we go running at 7 am with my hubby and I love seeing the sunrise, and its fairly still quiet in the mornings, its very beautiful.
Thank you so much! That's not weird AT ALL... it's very flattering and I really appreciate that! So thank you!
And I am always on the way to the gym before the sun comes up so I miss it, but I'm so jealous of you getting to see it! How wonderful!
I said yes to cleaning up outside around the house! With the gorgeous weather how could I not?
you look fab! :)

Survival Of Social Enterprises In The Current Economic ScenarioEvery year it seems like shoe manufacturers come out with new materials to make shoes from including simulated leathers, rubber, and even plastic but it is a safe bet that leather will continue to dominate the designer shoe market for some time.Cheap Toms Kristen StewartKeira Knightley Toms Shoes Toms Shoes Sale A company called Toms Shoes have gone one better by devising a policy to donate a pair of shoes to children in poor countries for every pair bought by the buying public. This company was founded in America in 2006 after its owner saw poor children running around without footwear. Sometimes these children did not go to school as schools do not admit pupils if they do not have any shoes to wear. Espadrille first appeared in the Pyrenees mountains and have since become synonymous with summer and the ease of the French Riviera. The appeal of espadrille has steadily grown and they have been embraced by the fashion world. Fashion houses of repute such as Armani and Versace have all embraced espadrille and featured them on the runaway. It can be remembered that model Don Johnson sported a pair of these in the early years of NBC television series "Miami Vice". The shoes are based on the design of the kind of shoes worn by the farmers in Argentina called the alpargate shoes. These are common canvas shoes which are manufactured in various designs by Toms. Most popular ones are Wrap Boot, Stitchouts, Cordones, and Botas. All the shoes have a rubber sole which makes them rustic and allows them to be worn in all kind of conditions. Vegan designs are also another popular design of Toms. Wedges: a kind of shoe with a wedge shaped heel was introduced by the company in the year 2010.

We did that, too! It always feels good to refresh your yard and plant new things and clean up the old thing!
I wasn't paying close enough attention to realize that April was Earth Month, but I recycle everything I can, make a few of my own cleaning products, and I do my best to conserve water and electricity -- oh, and I drive a fuel efficient car! :) Maybe some of those things count???

Each and every one of them! I need to spend some time to make cleaning products... what a great idea!
My recipe for kitchen cleaner (safe for granite!) is:
(all in a 24 ounce spray bottle, I get mine at Dollar Tree)
* two to three drops of Dawn dish soap
* 1/4 cup of rubbing alcohol
* fill the rest with water
* shake!
That's it. Easy. Cheap. You can add a drop of essential oil to make it smell better, like lavender or almond or something. :)
Thank you so much! Do you have a tutorial for it? Because that's totally pin-worthy :)
No . . . but I should! That would be an easy thing to knock out this weekend! :) Hah, thanks for coming up with my idea for me, LOL! :)
