Remember yesterday how I said I don't plan outfits around blog posts—so I'm inclined to repeat things often? In addition, remember the shirt I wore in yesterday's post? Well, this is the same one... two days in a row.
It's my favorite long-sleeve shirt in my closet, and I bought it from Express in 2007—which is why I can't link to it—because it's 6-years old. You'd think it would be on its way to a thrift store or have holes or stains, but no—it's in great condition and definitely the shirt I reach for when I'm looking for that "perfect fit." I have its twin in magenta, and also wore it with this awesome Tailor & Stylist jacket—and oh how I love faux-leather jackets. I wish I had more!
The combination of the bright pants, mixmatch patterns of stripes, polkadots, and leopard, and the ruffles and stitching on the jacket make this outfit one that I want to repeat.
What's your go-to outfit of the moment? Do you have that one piece in your closet that you treasure? P.S. It's Friday. Happy weekend, friends.

Love love your outfit!
And, yes, my go to pants are black, minnie pants from J.Crew. Perfect fit. Look fabulous with everything. Love. My other favorite is my Chambray. I don't wear it a ton right now...but after I first got it, I wanted to wear it with EVERYTHING!
I'm looking for the perfect faux leather jacket (or maybe even leather).
I love this get-up!
I wear the same stuff all the time, too - this is why I could never be a style blog, they seem to have neverending closets! And this is awesome pattern mixing! LOVE. Happy Friday!
I love this look! My go to outfit is a simple shirt with jeans and my mustard cardigan. In my two outfit posts that I have, I'm wearing that cardigan. It's sad, but I can't resist it! Oh and my go to shoes-always TOMS ;) You're inspiring me to take more pics of myself and get myself out there. Thanks!!
Ha ha! Well, if you didn't mention it, I wouldn't even have noticed. Not only that, but I was about to say "OMG I want that striped shirt" which is probably exactly what I said yesterday! But it's true!

I love stripes! Right now I have a plaid button-up shirt I keep wearing over and over. It's got fun bold colors and it's comfy. Plus I feel like I can wear it a bunch of different ways.
I wore my striped long sleeve tee twice this week too! I think it's the stripes that sit well with me. Gotta have thrm
I love the length of your shirt! And I'm such a sucker for stripes!
Your bun is so pretty in this one, but we need to see your new 'do! I live in striped tees and skinny jeans on the weekends. Sometimes, you just have to go with what you love :)

Love that jacket so cute!!! :)
The entire outfit is adorable. You always look so put-together. :)
I love faux leather jackets too and yours is the cutest one I've ever seen!
Love your pattern mixing! Good to know you're human lol you're not the only one who has repeated a piece of an outfit. I have a pair of dark wash skinnies that I've been known to repeat - oops! :)
LOVE your bun! How did you put it up? Sock bun type thingy or do you have your own way? I'd love to know:)
I love the mix of patterns! And I totally feel you because I tend to wear the same few things again and again in different ways. But I'm ok with that! Why fix what's not broken? Having a few pieces that you REALLY love and work with a lot of things makes getting dressed easier, and you always look like you!
P.S. loved your tweet the other day about fashion blogging...thanks for being real :)
perfectly priya
I don't own a single thing from J.Crew. Are they that amazing? I hear it's expensive. Maybe it's time for me to branch out!
It's not sad! If it's your fave piece, that's OK! I wore a red sweater in a TON of photos last year. I couldn't seem to take it off!
Me too! They don't make them like this anymore... I've gone back and searched every year!
You're right, I should show this one off. I can't believe I haven't before. It's so easy!
Aw, thanks Jay! That company who made it, Tailor and Stylist, makes the nicest items. I wanted so many of their things. It's so refreshing when brands make REAL things!
It's just a hair tie, some loops with my hair, and bobby pins. Another person requested a tutorial so I might just have to make a video!
You're so sweet, Priya. Thank YOU for being real!
I checked out their site and I added so many things to my wishlist!
I love J.Crew. I worked there for a few months at the call center during peak season. The main distribution center is not far from me. So, between my discount and warehouse sales, I got some amazing things. But, online and in store, there are great sales, too! J.Crew shoes (not partner brands) are made in Italy. Their products are well made. Some things I won't buy there, as it makes sense to spend less on certain basics.
Ok well our mall opened a J.Crew store last year so I might have to wander in soon! thank you Kirsten!
I don't think I could ever have enough faux leather jackets. Let me know when you find the perfect one! I might have to copycat you!
That's what I've heard from just about everyone! I walked in our J.Crew store here in Boise... I need to go back in!
