Happy day after St. Patty's! I didn't have any green beer—or my favorite, a green margarita—but I did enjoy a fresh green protein smoothie, filled with spinach! Delicious!
I also took the opportunity to deck myself out in green—three different times nonetheless! An emerald top for church, a neon green top at the gym, and a light lime sweatshirt for hanging out during the evening (oh, and don't forget the tie-dye green socks!).
Moving past all the fun of yesterday, today has special significance for me—a year ago today I became a Christian! March 18th—my special "birthday" of sorts. What a year it's been. I'm so thankful for everything that has happened. Here's to another year of LIFE!

Your shirt kind of looks like the dress my daughter wore :)
Beautiful!! The new hair really makes the shirt pop! Love it! :)
I wore green and didn't even realize it until my sister in-law made a comment. Camo is green I guess. lol

Yay! Happy {re}birthday!
Happy belated St. Patty's Day! I'm sure it's probably the easiest thing you do, but your hair at the office today is so cute! ;)
I love this color on you and hope you enjoy your (re)birthday!
I forgot to wear green to church but managed to change afterwards to show the holiday spirit!

I love, love, love that bracelet! I'm hoping to recreate something similar someday, because I definitely don't have the money to buy it. But it's so cute, and so are you!
Sending you sunshine,

Happy Birthday! What a great day to celebrate! In Christ, we certainly have a lot to celebrate!
Aunie, I read your blog often. I appreciate how honest and down-to-earth you are about your faith, even though I'm sure you got some negative responses along the way. Keep it coming. Rachel
What a great "birthday" to celebrate! :) That's so wonderful and exciting. And you look real cute in those outfit pictures up there!
So, I have a silly question! How do you get over feeling like an idiot posing for blog pictures? I really want to start incorporating more pictures of myself on my blog, but I feel so silly posing outside or asking TJ to take pics of me "for my blog"!?! You always look so effortless, composed and confident :)
OOh thank you! I have worn this top before, but I swear with the brunette hair it looks like a different color!
It's TOTALLY green :)
It IS easy to do! I'll have to show you when you're back from vacation!
Thank you SISTER! Yay!
I bet it would be a fun project, picking out a bunch of pretty stones and charms!
:) You know, I sure have gotten *quite a few *negative responses, but that's OK! Not everyone shares my same beliefs, but it's SO encouraging to be lifted up for them! So thank you, Rachel!
You're so cute, Kym! Don't be scared. My tip? Laugh at myself, because it's the truth that I look like a nerd out there "posing." I have a couple different things I do... I always do a crossed leg, a hand in my hair, and then a close up of something. That's the starting point, and the other ones just kind of come. Daniel is so good about always saying silly things to help me let loose.
Another tip? Snag a tripod and try going to a remote location where you're alone! It's harder but not quite as embarrassing!
