Earrings & Necklace: c/o Ella James for Fred Meyer // Jacket: Thrifted F21 // Top: F21
My style... my clothes... the photos you see.
It's not forced.
Or put on for 12-minutes for photos and then taken right back off.
It's part of my everyday.
Each outfit you see is what I was wearing that day,
whether I'm at the office or running errands on the weekends.
That's why you often see me in black pants, not jeans—because the photos were done on a lunch break.
It's probably obvious that my office attire is pretty casual, and that's one of the biggest perks about my job (I work for a non-profit hospital's foundation office).
This is me.
This is what I wear.
This is my style.
Comfort > Fashion.
Sale > Full price.
Easy-going = My style.
What kind of style would you say I have? What kind of style do you prefer?

I love that you show what you're really wearing. It's kind of a fresh take on something that's been done over and over again. It shows who you are as a person, and what you love, and personally I totally support comfort & sale. I love your green earrings here though, beautiful! xo, Maria
You already know that you and I are in the same boat. :)
I would say you have a cool, sheek look. Very Chic :) I prefer boho though because your style looks awful on me... hahaha!
Love this! I think that one of my goals in 2013 is to dress nicer on a regular basis. You have such a great everyday style, I'm jealous! But I really love that you share it with us...it's like a little glimpse into your real life ;) xoxo
Everything looks good together.. i love that your real about your style! gorgeous pics :)
xo
Same here! I always take photos in outfits that I actually wear. I think that is the best way to show personal style. If we are only putting on outfits for a picture and taking things off, it wouldn't be real then, right?
Love that we are so much alike :)
Love love love those earrings. So much. And your hair is so pretty! And my style is definitely comfy, but a little cute. I love dresses and heels for work sometimes, but I also love summer dresses and flip-flops the best!
I'm gonna really have to splurge at a consignment store and stop splurging at the department stores!
Such cute finds for so much less!!!

I love your style! You also have the best hair and accessories, I'm jealous! I do the same thing, I really do wear what I show on my blog. No fakery here!
Love your blog! Found you via A Beautiful Crazy Life.

I wish my casual day style was this cute...mostly I go with jeans and t shirts...I've got to work on that!
Sale price is definitely always better than full price.
I love that your style is comfortable and we as readers can see that it really is YOU. There are so many bloggers who just wear certain items for the review part of things. How do I know they're actually wearing those items in their everyday style?
I'd say your style is both laid-back and very put together.
I always take pictures of what I actually wear, too. And my style is probably more like...bright and random and not very fashionable? Hmmm...unfortunately I can't come up with very complimentary words for it but I always like what I wear, so that's what's important in fashion!
Most days I'm in my work uniform, which is black pants and a black t-shirt. Hence the reason I don't do a ton of outfit posts, because I pretty much wear that EVERY DAY.
Which is why when I have a day off I'm typically pretty dressed up, because I miss it on the days that I have to work!
I think your style is comfy, but not necessarily because of what you're wearing. You seem really comfy to be Aunie, and that's awesome. :)
My style depends on the day, but I would say "preppy" is a good word to use. Even in a t-shirt, I don't really feel that dressed-down. I just recently started accessorizing, so that's fun. I love my stash of $1 jewelry, that in no way looks like it cost $1 each. :)

Hehe- too funny! I actually had my first 'try on, take off' outfit post this last week. And what do you know, I wore it for literally 12 minutes!! ;)

Love ya girl! Wishing you a happy (married!!) new year!!

Aunie, you are so beautiful!!!!

I have a huge problem buying things full price, mainly because I think things are totally way to expensive especially in Toronto, and I love finding a good deal!
I am more interested in seeing real women and what you are really wearing to work!! Thanks! I am glad I "met" you! I think we'll be friends!
Hi Aunie!
Your earrings are so pretty - and I love the jacket!!
This is such a great post - I completely agree! All my photos are of what I was wearing that day and my partner always find it's quite annoying because as we're leaving the house or in the middle of something out and about, I'll stop us and kindly demand he does an impromptu photo shoot! :) I feel like something they aren't glam enough, like some other fashion bloggers - but this post reaffirms my thoughts... the more real, the better.
Thanks so much for linking up, I enjoyed reading this and really look forward to seeing you again next Wednesday afternoon for Style Sessions!
