With all my sap lately, I thought I'd bring a little humor to today's post.
The way I see it, there are three types of people in the world.
And for this example, I'm going to refer to some common toilet talk.
I'm sure you'll understand... and forgive me.
In reference to seeing if the stalls are occupied in public restrooms:
Type 1: Those who peek under the stall to check for feet or lightly knock on the door (in the case that you can't see under)
Type 2: Those who walk right up and push the door, or just go ahead and try the handle. This type may also jiggle the handle or twist the knob multiple times to be sure.
Type 3: Those who simply decline to use public restrooms at all.
I am a Type 1 to a T. I was always taught to knock before entering. I always get caught questioning "Hellooooooo?" outside of the stall.
Type 2's? Ugh. There's nothing like trying to just get it over with and then all of a sudden someone is rattling your door handle. However, I have no negative feelings for these people... I still love you. Even the lady who walked in on me.
And then there's the Type 3's. Oh, you Type 3's. It's OK—germs are real. I just don't mind them as much, I guess.

I'm DEFINITELY a Type 1. I usually don't look underneath for feet...because, unfortunately, you can usually see people through the HUGH CRACKS that those dumb stalls have!

Totally type 1, I went out of my comfort zone once and pulled a type 2 and walked in on my best friends husband going to the bathroom! Type 1 is the way to go!

Type 1 here!!!! I have {on complete accident} been a #2 and it was SO embarrassing.
I'm a combination of Type 1, but one time I was a Type 2! LOL I was showing a girl at school how the handicap stall looks closed all the time but it's really open, and literally kicked it in, only to find a girl sitting on the potty... one of my most embarrassing moments :/

I'm a type 1. My kids however, they're type 2s. Tsk tsk. They're young though. Haha. Some days Maddie is a type 3. Like when it comes to portapotties or campground toilets.
Anyway, I'd be thrilled with any of these as a prize!
Usually type 1, unless I can't see feet. Then, I'm a tad bit type 2. If I'm type 2, I usually try to gently push on the door to see if it's locked. No banging, jiggling or twisting out of control. :)

I'm like, both type one and two. I knock on the door, and if no one responds, I still push the door open, but I only open it a bit (not enough where I can see in) just in case someone is in there, then they have time to go and stop me.

I'm a mix of 1 and 2, depending on the bathroom. At work, I'm a 1, but in public, I'm a 2, because there's often a lineup and you can tell which stall is empty because someone just exited it!

I'm definitely a Type 1, but recently I knocked lightly on a door, waited and didn't see any feet under the door. I pushed open the door and there was a little girl sitting there! I felt so embarrassed for her and myself! I've had people walk in on me and I know how bright red I turned. I hated that I did that to someone else!
I am definitely Type1 lol. Type 2 people stress me out because I'm not a fan of everyone being in the bathroom at the same time anyways. Kinda weird to be doing your business with other people that close together, lol.

oh my gosh this is SO HILARIOUS!! I'm totally type 1. Ya know what else I do? I open the bathroom door reaaaalllllly slowwwwlllyyyyy so that if someone is in there, they can yell before I see them!!

I'm a little bit Type 1 and a little bit Type 2. I stand 6-feet-tall, and I'm plus-size, so public bathroom stalls are one of my worst enemies. I usually peak underneath the door before touching the door handle. Of course, nothing's more embarrassing than when I'm standing in the stall and I can clearly see right over the top because the stall walls are short. OHMYWORD. Awkward!!!!!!!!!
