I'm just going to take a moment and tell you that yesterday,
I was shabby.
I wore the Friar Tuck to work.
(Not because I wanted to... but I needed pretty hair for the evening!)
You may be asking, "What the H is the Friar Tuck?"
It's where you tuck your hair into an elastic headband,
(which you usually sleep in) to achieve vintage-style curls...
you know.. the very attractive look?
I thought it was so funny that I posted a photo to Instagram
and it was basically all I could talk about all day long.
I mean, I even had the chance to be interviewed by a local news station
(for something completely unrelated)
and I turned it down because I was Friar Tucking-it and wanted to keep it in to
preserve my curls for that night's event.
Plus, there was no way that the FT was making it's TV debut anytime soon.
I bet you would've loved to see a clip of me, wearing my most fancy hairstyle,
floating around YouTube.
Actually... maybe I should have done the interview.
In addition to my shabby-ness, I had to text Daniel to tell him about my new wear-to-work style
(because he absolutely dislikes the Friar Tuck).
His response?
Made me giggle all day long.
The FRIAR YUCK.
See, I told you.
Shabby.

It actually kinda looks cute!
I love it I think it would also be perfect for those super humid days!!
But I actually love that! Basic summer hair! Ha!
xx
gaaahhh!! come over to my house and do that to my hair!! :P
x.
Hahaha I saw that on Instagram and was wondering what in the world it could've been. It looks amazing though! Your hubby is crazy!
I can't believe you slept in it and it still looks that great! :) I never get away with stuff like that!
I think it looks amazing! Love it!
Ahhh!! I'm so obsessed with their dresses!
And I LOL'd when I read that conversation on IG yesterday!
That second picture looks like a bridge on the Seine in Paris. Sooo pretty! Both the bridge and the dress!
This looks like something I would do...I once went to class with my hair in a purple scrunchie (...because I had forgotten that I slept with it in).
Like I said before, I think you look great no matter how you wear your hair. :)
Your FT looked so good for having been slept on! I'm impressed. And the photo of you guys in your capes that you posted on Instagram this morning was so cute!
And thanks for yet ANOTHER giveaway! You're the giveaway queen, Aunie!

I don't think it looks bad! you should have added a flower or something sparkly! I have definitely seen worse...then again I have worn worse! haha
i love your hair! it's so cute and stylish!! :)
This is actually one of my favorite hair styles! It's so easy and everyone is always so impressed! I love it with some big earrings and a cute dress, and then the added bonus of having amazing curls the next day, in my world it's totally a win-win
